We are a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation formed for the benefit of the community. Our legal name is the "Purcellville Teen Center Inc," which we founded in 2005 to operate the Friday night teen center operations at the roller rink.
In 2010, the Town of Purcellville completely renovated the rink and restored it to its former grandeur. The Town also restored the former name of the rink to the “Bush Tabernacle.”
Shortly after the renovation, our non-profit corporationwon the contract to provide the full-time management and operations of all the activities at the roller rink.
Our Business Model
The annual cost for us to operate and maintain the Bush Tabernacle far exceeds the income we receive from the general admission charges. To offset this, we rent the facility for semi-private and private events, and we also rely upon tax-deductible donations from individuals and businesses just like yours. To make a donation, please visit our Sponsors page.
Since we are a non-profit corporation, by law our net profit is not allowed to be used for the benefit of the individuals running the organization, and instead we invest these proceeds to purchase a whole "wish list" of items that will enhance the enjoyment of the Bush Tabernacle for people of all ages in our community.
